Holiday friends

Sim, nós fizemos algumas amizades durante as nossas férias no oeste da Irlanda :) Simpatizei especialmente com os burros que moravam mesmo ao lado do nosso B&B fantástico, "Shaminir" e, claro, com as (minhas amadas) ovelhas que estavam em todo lado. Também tivemos a oportunidade de ver alguns veados (grandes e pequenos) no Parque Nacional de Killarney, pelo qual tínhamos que passar quando íamos de Killarney para Kenmare (e vice-versa)...foi muito giro; como íamos à noite, não havia quase trânsito nenhum e eles andavam pelo parque livremente, atravessando as estradas e olhando para nós como quem se perguntasse o que é que nós andávamos ali a fazer àquelas horas (quase meia-noite) :) Também aquela hora haviam várias ovelhas a dormir na valeta ou até no meio da estrada (!?!) Até parecia que estávamos num safari (tal como no Quénia há quase 2 anos)...um "safari na Irlanda" ;)

Yes, we made some friends on our holidays in the west of Ireland :) I especially liked the donkeys that lived next door to our fantastic B&B, "Shaminir" and, of course, my (dear) sheep that were everywhere. We also had the opportunity to see some deer (big & small) in the Killarney National Park, which we had to go through on the way to Kenmare when coming from Killarney (& vice-versa)...it was great; because we were driving at night, there was almost no traffic and they were wondering through the park freely, crossing roads and looking at us like they were asking themselves what were we doing there so late (almost midnight) :) Also at that time there were some sheep sleeping on the side or in the middle of the road (?!?) It looked like we were on a safari (like we did in Kenya almost 2 years ago)...a "safari in Ireland" ;)
